5. A Cruise on the Limmat
Get a different perspective of the city from the water. Just walk to the pier in front of the Swiss National Museum and get into one of the boats that depart every half an hour. 8. Dolderbahn
Take a ride up in the single cabin rack railway that takes you up to the Dolder recreation area and the amazing Hotel Dolder Grand. It is also a winter attraction when it offers ice-skating and ice hockey.

9. Zurich's Munsters
No visit to Zurich is complete without visiting its famous churches.
The Grossmunster: The twin towers of this famous church are one of Zurichs most recognizable landmarks. The church which has been built, rebuilt and renovated several times has stained glass windows, a Romanesque crypt and bronze doors that are all worth seeing. You can even try climbing the 187 steps to the top of one of the towers for a bird's eye-view over the city.
The Fraumunster: Founded in the 9th century this church is particularly noteworthy for its 5 stained glass windows by Marc Chagall. The church is situated on the west bank of the Limmat and can be distinguished by its green steeple.
