Start into the day with a panoramic coach ride through picturesque landscapes over the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the marvellous town of Lucerne. Capture the view on camera during a short photo stop en route and let your guide show you the main attractions on a brief orientation drive past the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL).
Enjoy approximately six hours to explore Lucerne and the Bürgenstock at your own pace. Take a scenic cruise with the newly designed Bürgenstock shuttle boat across Lake Lucerne to Kehrsiten, where you board the legendary Bürgenstock funicular. Discover the luxurious Bürgenstock resort that first opened its doors to the public back in 1827 and underwent complete reconstruction before celebrating its reopening in 2017. Retrace the paths of celebrities like Charlie Chaplin, Audrey Hepburn or Sean Connery at the Bürgenstock Hotel Museum.
Take a seat in the Lakeview Lounge or on the panoramic terrace for a refreshing drink or snack before setting off on hiking trails amidst pure nature. Walk the Felsenweg path to the Hammetschwand Lift, the world’s highest exterior elevator (optional, summer) or follow a hiking path to the Hammetschwand viewpoint (all year round) for astonishing views over the lake and the city. Take a leisurely stroll through the shopping arcade and browse Swiss watches, jewellery and chocolates. Descend to Kehrsiten by funicular and return to Lucerne with a relaxing boat trip to round off your day. Meet your tour guide for the return journey to Zurich in the evening.
